I remember the days…yes, those memorable days when my little girls would dress-up in cute dresses and pretty shoes!

Sometimes, the girls aunt Laura would dress them up too!
Tricia started coming into her own fashion ‘Diva-ness’ back in 2007. She always knew how to dress to impress…and it doesn’t hurt to accessorize either!

Our dear friend, Silvia, in Atenas, Costa Rica, made this dress for Gabbi last year. It cost me $50 and was worth it because I loved that Gabbi still wanted to be a princess and dress-up…and she was 10 years old! Unheard of nowadays… Today in 2011, Gabbi still squeezes into it for fun! She had a play in Drama last week and had to wear a princess dress…hey, “we have one!”
This past Sunday, we went window shopping at one of our favorite stores, L’Patricia. Hey, I love that name! Teeheehee!
Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Like Wow! She’s so gorgeous! Ok, okay…go take off that dress! You look to grown up! I don’t care how much it costs, you can come to the store to try it on!
Oh, Gabbi…my lil’ Imelda Marcos…tried on all the hot-mama shoes!
Wow, these do look great on you! Maybe in…let’s say…five years you can purchase them! Ha! Oh wait, “they’ll be out of style?…Awwwe, sorry!” Gosh those lil’ chicken nuggets look cute in those shoes!
Stop begging Gabbi! The answer is still NO! Tricia looks great too…of course, she has those awesome dancing legs! Ballet, Jazz & Hip-Hop classes have served her well! Ahhh, the answer is NO to you too, Tricia!
We headed over to Belk’s department store and had fun trying on headpieces. Tricia was like a burst of sunshine!
I’m ready for the upcoming Royal nuptials or the next Lady Gaga concert! Either way, I’ll look fab!
In true Gabbi-fashion…she puts on the headband going across her face instead. LIke Tricia, Gabbi will create her own fashion trends!
We moved over to the perfume counter and had a blast spraying ourselves with the many fragrances! Even getting some in the eye! We walked out smelling like a potpourri of flowers!
This Mommy-Daughter time was so much fun! And best of all…it didn’t co$t us a thing! Only time and energy! And did we expend energy? Well I know I did…we laughed throughout the day and all the way home! The experts say, ‘When laughter is shared, it triggers healthy physical changes in the body.’ Well, I don’t know about all that, cuz I was peeing in my pants and I don’t know how that’s suppose to be ‘healthy’…LOL!
However, I do know that laughter binds people together and increases happiness and intimacy. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free, and easy to use!
Here’s lil’ Tricia wearing her ruby red slippers!
Gosh, did she love those shoes…she’d wear them all the time! I still have them! I’ve packed away certain items of my girls past to remind me…when I know longer can remember…how little, cute and precious they were to me!
Tricia wore these shoes out! Consequently, Gabbi couldn’t resist and wore them a couple of times too!
This photo is one of my favorites! On occasion, I’d dress-up the girls in these Asian outfits to go eat dinner at our favorite restaurant, Tokyo One, in Addison, Texas. It was our girls favorite place to eat! They learned to eat sushi and sautéed mussels there! The girls were also in a commercial for the restaurant…coolio!Sometimes, the girls aunt Laura would dress them up too!
