I didn’t want much for Mother’s Day as John was just returning from his vacation in Costa Rica and it was a busy weekend with Tricia’s birthday festivities. I don’t like taking time away from her special day just to celebrate lil’ ole’ me! Being a Mother is a 24/7 job but it’s also a 24/7 rewarding experience! So, I get much out of being their Mom too. I did, however, ask for these cute lil’ cactus’ from Wal-Mart. They are so cute! One was from Gabbi, the other from Tricia. I have them on my kitchen window seal so I can see them everyday! There cactus so hopefully I won’t kill them! Hahha!
We did spend a wonderful day together…getting Tricia’s ear pierced…a BBQ, a belated Easter Egg hunt at my sister’s home and decorated cupcakes for Tricia’s 14th birthday. I’ll blog that real soon!
But for me…spending time with my girls is better than any physical gift they could ever give me!
Time…is indeed more precious! Time spent together is memorable…taking a photo of our time together is even better! Motherhood is most rewarding…hence, taking our picture under the store’s sign behind us! Cool prop, huh?
